Ignoring rain, cold weather and protests, more than 4000 people turned up at Madison Square Garden in New York City to listen to Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi address them via satellite on Sunday 20 Mar 2005.

He said on the meeting that
"There will be a day when people from other nations stand in queue for a visa to India."
